SUNBURST CARD
Summer is the time for games. Today I'm playing a little crafty tic-tac-toe! It's been YEARS since I've participated in this fun challenge...thanks to the encouragement from my friend & fellow CTMH consultant, Tracey Pierce, I'm back on the bandwagon. I {heart} challenges because they are such a fun way to get motivated & think outside of the box!! You can find more info on the color dare here.If I'm going to be honest, this challenge submission was created by "accident" -- a very happy accident :) I was showing my friends how to use scraps after making the Cheers to You card kit; which features the Central Park papers. We had a bunch of triangle shaped scraps, which immediately made me think of the popular Sunburst cards. You basically, take your triangle pieces & arrange them on your card base to make a sunburst! How fun is that?!
If you love these vibrant colors, you might want to stock up - they'll all be retiring after August 31, except Lemon! In addition, the Central Park papers will also be retiring next month.
I used Archival Black ink for my sentiment, so I could add our watercolors to highlight the it. The archival ink doesn't bleed when you add watercolor, markers or shimmer which allows you to add pops of color to your artwork.
I hope this card adds a little sunshine to your day! Please visit my website for more info on the products I used.
